Currently live in 23 countries with a top Global Insurer and integrated with 20+ top ⅓ distribution partners, recently backed by a Singapore listed company we are expanding and we are looking for a Technical Delivery Manager to manage a growing development team.
Your Role:
The Technical Delivery Manager is pivotal in managing technical projects in the travel insurance sector, following Agile methodologies. Responsible for on-site and remote developers and QA teams, the role handles project planning, timeline management, and quality compliance. Additional duties include onboarding new developers and conducting performance assessments.

Responsibilities:
- Project Methodology: Implement Agile principles and practices in project execution allowing clear visibility on projects deliverables and timelines.
- Project Execution: Translate initial requirements into actionable plans and schedules.
- Leadership Skills: Lead, inspire, and motivate developers and QA teams to achieve project milestones and maintain high team morale.
- Team Management: Lead and challenge on-site and remote developers and QA teams on estimations, planning and execution.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly update stakeholders, including upper management and clients, on project status.
- Collaborative Efforts: Foster a collaborative environment among internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Adaptive Management: Adapt to changing project requirements and adjust timelines and resources as needed.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
- Timeline Management: Develop project timelines and staged deliveries.
- Reporting: Prepare and deliver performance metrics and project reports to upper management.
- Quality and Compliance: Ensure PCI DSS and ISO 27001 compliance in deliverables following shared requirements.
- Professional Development: Promote continual learning and development among team members.
- Team Onboarding: Take charge of onboarding new developers to the team.
- Performance Assessment: Conduct performance evaluations for reporting teams.
- Industry Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of the Travel Insurance industry requirements as shared from our customers.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with at least one programming language, such as NodeJS or PHP, is required.
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs
- Familiarity with cloud services offering like AWS is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, with excellent interpersonal and motivational skills.
- Ability to adapt to changes quickly, manage uncertainty, and show resilience under pressure.
- Possession of relevant certifications, such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or domain-specific certifications related to travel insurance, is a significant advantage but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve team conflicts and project disputes.
- Proven ability for realistic project planning based on technical requirements.
- 5+ years in technical project management, with a preference for experience in the travel insurance domain.
- Strong understanding of the Software design/architecture process
- Experience in onboarding and performance assessment is essential.
